In the first article, we would like to introduce a new accessory.

Our micromanipulator can transfer FIB foils to TEM grids outside (ex situ) the SEM chamber.
For this application, we already have a manual method for FIB-Foil Transfer, using the Superfine Pitch Rotator which can be rotated in the axis of the probe.

Our new automated lift-out solution is a motorized version which makes it possible to perform this foil rotation with control through the Micro Support Axis Pro software.
In this application, the software is able to memorize 2 arm positions.

The foil is picked up with our Vacuum Absorption Tool Set  to reduce the risk of losing the foil during transport.
